Setup & migration

Getting started

From installation to a dashboard that means something

One-click import from the plugins a shop is likely already on, then six steps to a real number.

  • Where those plugins recorded what a past order cost at the time, that figure is used when recording history — better evidence than today's price, and preferred over it.
  • Costs the merchant already entered are never overwritten.
  • Settings come across too, but only where the merchant has not already answered the same question here.
  • The wizard is resumable, skippable, and reuses the same screens rather than duplicating them.
  • Recording past orders runs in the background with a progress bar, a cancel button, and a lock so two administrators cannot start it twice.

Migration is where a cost plugin usually asks the merchant to start over. This one reads what the previous plugin knew about the past, not just the present — a historical figure from another tool is still better evidence than today’s price.

Stop finding out when a customer does.

What to order, how many, and the arithmetic behind it — inside the WooCommerce admin you already use.
