COGS, profit & inventory for WooCommerce

WooCommerce tells a shop what it sold. It does not tell it what it kept.

Caltru Ledger for WooCommerce

Live since 12 September 2026. The free plugin carries 684 tests and makes no outbound requests, which a test checks rather than a privacy policy promises. Pro adds stock replenishment on the same records.

Everything on the product pages applies here. The mechanics specific to WooCommerce are listed above, and they are the reason the plugin can claim that costs stay with the products whatever the shop does next.

What is specific to this platform

  • Costs are stored in WooCommerce's native Cost of Goods Sold field (9.5+), not a private copy.
  • Historical figures are returned to WooCommerce through woocommerce_calculated_order_item_cogs_value, so core order screens show what the order actually cost.
  • HPOS and legacy order storage, both tested in CI.
  • WPML — a product and its translations are one product.
  • Background work through Action Scheduler, with a bounded synchronous fallback.
  • WordPress Coding Standards (WooCommerce-Core), PHPCompatibility 7.4.
