The short version
The free plugin sends nothing anywhere. Pro talks to Freemius, which sells and licenses it, and never sends your shop’s data. This site sets no cookies and loads nothing from anyone else.
The data controller is MB Digital Acid, Lithuania, reachable at the address at the foot of every page.
The free plugin
Caltru Ledger runs entirely inside your WordPress installation. It reads the orders and products already in your shop and writes its own records to your own database. It does not contact us, or anyone else, with anything about your shop, your customers or your catalogue — a test in its own suite scans the code for outbound requests and fails the build if one appears.
Uninstalling leaves your cost history in place. Deleting it is a setting, off by default, because cost history is the one thing a shop cannot recreate from anything else it holds.
Caltru Ledger Pro
Pro uses the Freemius software development kit to check its licence and to deliver updates. When a licence is activated, Freemius receives:
- the licence key and the site’s address;
- the versions of Pro and of the SDK, and whether Pro is active, deactivated or uninstalled;
- if the licence has no owner yet — one issued rather than bought — the name and email of the WordPress user activating it, so it can be assigned to them.
The WordPress and PHP versions, the site’s language and title, and the list of other plugins and themes are optional: the activation screen lists each one, and each can be switched off there.
Pro never sends orders, customers, products, costs or any figure the plugins calculate. Freemius’s own privacy policy covers what it does with the data above.
Buying a licence
Checkout, payment, invoices and VAT are handled by Freemius as merchant of record. Freemius receives the details needed to take payment and satisfy tax law; we do not see or store card details at any point. We see the name, email, country and licence of each customer, so we can support them.
This website
The site is static. It sets no cookies and loads no third-party scripts, fonts or tracking pixels — the fonts are served from this domain for that reason. Buying, trying and managing a licence happen on Freemius’s own pages, which the buttons here link to.
The server keeps ordinary access logs, which include IP addresses, for a short period in order to run the site and defend it from abuse.
If you write to us, we keep the email so we can answer it.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, object to its use, or complain to the State Data Protection Inspectorate of Lithuania. Write to the address at the foot of this page and you will get an answer.
